Carrington Build for WordPress

0 Carrington Build for WordPressWelcome to Carrington Build. A better way to manage WordPress content and custom page layouts.

Before Carrington Build creating custom page layouts required programming knowledge. Hand-coded page templates and HTML knowledge were your only tools.

So what is Carrington Build? It’s a simple interface of rows with columns which represent the layout of that page. What you see is what you get. Plus, rows and content within their columns are all draggable for easy organization.

Here’s an example where we have a yellow notice Module at the bottom of the page. Let’s go in to Build. Since each Module can moved, let’s drag-and-drop the the notice above the Callout. Once Build is saved, you don’t need to update the page in WordPress. Just refresh and see your changes reflected immediately.

Let’s build a two-column products page. Carrington Build comes packaged with a bunch of handy modules but also supports WordPress widgets and sidebars. Let’s use the Sub-Pages module to list all our products. They’re sub-pages of the Products page. And we want to show an excerpt of each. This is really helpful for FAQ listings. Next, lets add a notice to let people know a new version is available. The Notice module has styles that can be applied to it. Let’s now use a Loop module to list all our recent product news.

Carrington Build (Single Site) is $299 dollars and is available in the Crowd Favorite store. This includes updates for a year and documentation on adding Carrington Build to your theme. It also includes access to our actively monitored developer discussion and support forums.

If you’d like to try Carrington Build yourself, you can see it in use in the Carrington Business theme. Visit the Carrington Business demo to try it for yourself.

Carrington Build, this is how content management should be.
